Sura 29 Al-'Ankabut (The Spider), ayah 65

  1. فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا فِي الْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ

    Translation by words

    فَإِذَا
    And when
    رَكِبُوا۟
    they embark
    فِى
    [in]
    ٱلْفُلْكِ
    the ship,
    دَعَوُا۟
    they call
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    مُخْلِصِينَ
    (being) sincere
    لَهُ
    to Him
    ٱلدِّينَ
    (in) the religion.
    فَلَمَّا
    But when
    نَجَّىٰهُمْ
    He delivers them
    إِلَى
    to
    ٱلْبَرِّ
    the land,
    إِذَا
    behold,
    هُمْ
    they
    يُشْرِكُونَ
    associate partners (with Him)

    And when they board a ship, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, at once they associate others with Him

    29:65
