Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 268

  1. الشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَعِدُكُمْ مَغْفِرَةً مِنْهُ وَفَضْلًا ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

    Translation by words

    ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
    The Shaitaan
    يَعِدُكُمُ
    promises you
    ٱلْفَقْرَ
    [the] poverty
    وَيَأْمُرُكُم
    and orders you
    بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ
    to immorality,
    وَٱللَّهُ
    while Allah
    يَعِدُكُم
    promises you
    مَّغْفِرَةً
    forgiveness
    مِّنْهُ
    from Him
    وَفَضْلًا
    and bounty.
    وَٱللَّهُ
    And Allah
    وَٰسِعٌ
    (is) All-Encompassing,
    عَلِيمٌ
    All-Knowing.

    Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
