Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 53

  1. وَإِذْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَالْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَإِذْ
    And when
    ءَاتَيْنَا
    We gave
    مُوسَى
    Musa
    ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
    the Book
    وَٱلْفُرْقَانَ
    and the Criterion,
    لَعَلَّكُمْ
    perhaps you
    تَهْتَدُونَ
    (would be) guided.

    And (recall) when We gave Moses the Scripture and criterion that perhaps you would be guided.
