Sura 30 Ar-Rum (The Romans), ayah 42

  1. قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُشْرِكِينَ

    Translation by words

    قُلْ
    Say,
    سِيرُوا۟
    "Travel
    فِى
    in
    ٱلْأَرْضِ
    the earth
    فَٱنظُرُوا۟
    and see
    كَيْفَ
    how
    كَانَ
    was
    عَٰقِبَةُ
    (the) end
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    (of) those who
    مِن
    (were) before.
    قَبْلُ
    (were) before.
    كَانَ
    Most of them were
    أَكْثَرُهُم
    Most of them were
    مُّشْرِكِينَ
    polytheists."

    Say, (O Muhammad), "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators (of others with Allah).
