Sura 32 As-Sajdah (The Prostration), ayah 3

  1. أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۚ بَلْ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَا أَتَاهُمْ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

    Translation by words

    أَمْ
    Or
    يَقُولُونَ
    (do) they say,
    ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ
    "He invented it?"
    بَلْ
    Nay,
    هُوَ
    it
    ٱلْحَقُّ
    (is) the truth
    مِن
    from
    رَّبِّكَ
    your Lord
    لِتُنذِرَ
    that you may warn
    قَوْمًا
    a people
    مَّآ
    not
    أَتَىٰهُم
    has come to them
    مِّن
    any
    نَّذِيرٍ
    warner
    مِّن
    before you
    قَبْلِكَ
    before you
    لَعَلَّهُمْ
    so that they may
    يَهْتَدُونَ
    be guided.

    Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, (O Muhammad), that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you (so) perhaps they will be guided.
