Sura 33 Al-Ahzab (Those who took up arms), ayah 30

  1. يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ مَنْ يَأْتِ مِنْكُنَّ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُبَيِّنَةٍ يُضَاعَفْ لَهَا الْعَذَابُ ضِعْفَيْنِ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا

    Translation by words

    يَٰنِسَآءَ
    O wives
    ٱلنَّبِىِّ
    (of) the Prophet!
    مَن
    Whoever
    يَأْتِ
    commits
    مِنكُنَّ
    from you
    بِفَٰحِشَةٍ
    immorality
    مُّبَيِّنَةٍ
    clear,
    يُضَٰعَفْ
    will be doubled
    لَهَا
    for her
    ٱلْعَذَابُ
    the punishment
    ضِعْفَيْنِ
    two fold.
    وَكَانَ
    And that is
    ذَٰلِكَ
    And that is
    عَلَى
    for
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    يَسِيرًا
    easy.

    O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a clear immorality - for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.

    33:30
