Sura 33 Al-Ahzab (Those who took up arms), ayah 60
-
لَئِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهِ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالْمُرْجِفُونَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
Translation by words
- لَّئِن
- If
- لَّمْ
- (do) not
- يَنتَهِ
- cease
- ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ
- the hypocrites
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- and those who
- فِى
- in
- قُلُوبِهِم
- their hearts
- مَّرَضٌ
- (is) a disease
- وَٱلْمُرْجِفُونَ
- and those who spread rumors
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْمَدِينَةِ
- the city,
- لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ
- We will let you overpower them,
- بِهِمْ
- We will let you overpower them,
- ثُمَّ
- then
- لَا
- not
- يُجَاوِرُونَكَ
- they will remain your neighbors
- فِيهَآ
- therein
- إِلَّا
- except
- قَلِيلًا
- (for) a little,
If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease and those who spread rumors in al-Madinah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little.
33:60
