Sura 34 Sheba, ayah 47
-
قُلْ مَا سَأَلْتُكُمْ مِنْ أَجْرٍ فَهُوَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
Translation by words
- قُلْ
- Say,
- مَا
- "Not
- سَأَلْتُكُم
- I ask you
- مِّنْ
- for
- أَجْرٍ
- any payment,
- فَهُوَ
- but it (is)
- لَكُمْ
- for you.
- إِنْ
- Not
- أَجْرِىَ
- (is) my payment
- إِلَّا
- but
- عَلَى
- from
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah.
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) over
- كُلِّ
- all
- شَىْءٍ
- things
- شَهِيدٌ
- a Witness."
Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness."
34:47
