Sura 35 Fatir (Originator), ayah 40
-
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِنْهُ ۚ بَلْ إِنْ يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا
Translation by words
- قُلْ
- Say,
- أَرَءَيْتُمْ
- "Have you seen
- شُرَكَآءَكُمُ
- your partners
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those whom
- تَدْعُونَ
- you call
- مِن
- besides
- دُونِ
- besides
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah?"
- أَرُونِى
- Show Me
- مَاذَا
- what
- خَلَقُوا۟
- they have created
- مِنَ
- from
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth,
- أَمْ
- or
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- شِرْكٌ
- (is) a share
- فِى
- in
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens.
- أَمْ
- Or
- ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ
- have We given them
- كِتَٰبًا
- a Book
- فَهُمْ
- so they
- عَلَىٰ
- (are) on
- بَيِّنَتٍ
- a clear proof
- مِّنْهُ
- therefrom?
- بَلْ
- Nay,
- إِن
- not
- يَعِدُ
- promise
- ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
- the wrongdoers
- بَعْضُهُم
- some of them
- بَعْضًا
- (to) others
- إِلَّا
- except
- غُرُورًا
- delusion.
Say, "Have you considered your 'partners' whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership (with Him) in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so they are (standing) on evidence therefrom? (No), rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion."
35:40
