Sura 38 Sad (The letter Saad), ayah 30

  1. وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ ۚ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ

    Translation by words

    وَوَهَبْنَا
    And We gave
    لِدَاوُۥدَ
    to Dawood
    سُلَيْمَٰنَ
    Sulaiman,
    نِعْمَ
    an excellent
    ٱلْعَبْدُ
    slave.
    إِنَّهُۥٓ
    Indeed, he
    أَوَّابٌ
    (was) one who repeatedly turned.

    And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back (to Allah).
