Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 91
-
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمْ مِلْءُ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَلَوِ افْتَدَىٰ بِهِ ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ
Translation by words
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve[d]
- وَمَاتُوا۟
- and died
- وَهُمْ
- while they
- كُفَّارٌ
- (are) disbelievers,
- فَلَن
- then never
- يُقْبَلَ
- will be accepted
- مِنْ
- from
- أَحَدِهِم
- any one of them
- مِّلْءُ
- full
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- earth
- ذَهَبًا
- (of) gold
- وَلَوِ
- [and] (even) if
- ٱفْتَدَىٰ
- he offered as ransom
- بِهِۦٓ
- it.
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those -
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- أَلِيمٌ
- painful
- وَمَا
- and not
- لَهُم
- (will be) for them
- مِّن
- any
- نَّٰصِرِينَ
- helpers.
Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - never would the (whole) capacity of the earth in gold be accepted from one of them if he would (seek to) ransom himself with it. For those there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers.
3:91
