Sura 40 Ghafir (The Forgiver), ayah 57
-
لَخَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Translation by words
- لَخَلْقُ
- Surely, (the) creation
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- أَكْبَرُ
- (is) greater
- مِنْ
- than
- خَلْقِ
- (the) creation
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the mankind,
- وَلَٰكِنَّ
- but
- أَكْثَرَ
- most
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the people
- لَا
- (do) not
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- know.
The creation of the heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of the people do not know.
40:57
