Sura 41 Fussilat (Explained In Detail), ayah 49
-
لَا يَسْأَمُ الْإِنْسَانُ مِنْ دُعَاءِ الْخَيْرِ وَإِنْ مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَئُوسٌ قَنُوطٌ
Translation by words
- لَّا
- (Does) not
- يَسْـَٔمُ
- get tired
- ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ
- man
- مِن
- of
- دُعَآءِ
- praying
- ٱلْخَيْرِ
- (for) the good,
- وَإِن
- but if
- مَّسَّهُ
- touches him
- ٱلشَّرُّ
- the evil
- فَيَـُٔوسٌ
- then he gives up hope
- قَنُوطٌ
- (and) despairs.
Man is not weary of supplication for good (things), but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing.
41:49
