Sura 42 Ash-Shura (The Consultation), ayah 12

  1. لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

    Translation by words

    لَهُۥ
    To Him (belongs)
    مَقَالِيدُ
    (the) keys
    ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
    (of) the heavens
    وَٱلْأَرْضِ
    and the earth.
    يَبْسُطُ
    He extends
    ٱلرِّزْقَ
    the provision
    لِمَن
    for whom
    يَشَآءُ
    He wills
    وَيَقْدِرُ
    and restricts.
    إِنَّهُۥ
    Indeed, He
    بِكُلِّ
    of every
    شَىْءٍ
    thing
    عَلِيمٌ
    (is) All-Knower.

    To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. He extends provision for whom He wills and restricts (it). Indeed He is, of all things, Knowing.
