Sura 42 Ash-Shura (The Consultation), ayah 16

  1. وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ

    Translation by words

    وَٱلَّذِينَ
    And those who
    يُحَآجُّونَ
    argue
    فِى
    concerning
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    مِنۢ
    after
    بَعْدِ
    after
    مَا
    [what]
    ٱسْتُجِيبَ
    response has been made to Him,
    لَهُۥ
    response has been made to Him,
    حُجَّتُهُمْ
    their argument
    دَاحِضَةٌ
    (is) invalid
    عِندَ
    with
    رَبِّهِمْ
    their Lord,
    وَعَلَيْهِمْ
    and upon them
    غَضَبٌ
    (is) wrath,
    وَلَهُمْ
    and for them
    عَذَابٌ
    (is) a punishment
    شَدِيدٌ
    severe.

    And those who argue concerning Allah after He has been responded to - their argument is invalid with their Lord, and upon them is (His) wrath, and for them is a severe punishment.
