Sura 42 Ash-Shura (The Consultation), ayah 20

  1. مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ نَصِيبٍ

    Translation by words

    مَن
    Whoever
    كَانَ
    is
    يُرِيدُ
    desiring
    حَرْثَ
    (the) harvest
    ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
    (of) the Hereafter -
    نَزِدْ
    We increase
    لَهُۥ
    for him
    فِى
    in
    حَرْثِهِۦ
    his harvest.
    وَمَن
    And whoever
    كَانَ
    is
    يُرِيدُ
    desiring
    حَرْثَ
    (the) harvest
    ٱلدُّنْيَا
    (of) the world,
    نُؤْتِهِۦ
    We give him
    مِنْهَا
    of it,
    وَمَا
    but not
    لَهُۥ
    for him
    فِى
    in
    ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
    the Hereafter
    مِن
    any
    نَّصِيبٍ
    share.

    Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter - We increase for him in his harvest. And whoever desires the harvest of this world - We give him thereof, but there is not for him in the Hereafter any share.
