Sura 42 Ash-Shura (The Consultation), ayah 47

اسْتَجِيبُوا لِرَبِّكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۚ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ مَلْجَإٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ نَكِيرٍ
Translation by words

- لِرَبِّكُم
- to your Lord
- مِّن
- before
- قَبْلِ
- before
- أَن
- [that]
- يَأْتِىَ
- comes
- يَوْمٌ
- a Day
- لَّا
- (there is) no
- مَرَدَّ
- averting
- لَهُۥ
- for it
- مِنَ
- from
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah.
- مَا
- Not
- لَكُم
- (is) for you
- مِّن
- any
- مَّلْجَإٍ
- refuge
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- (on) that Day
- وَمَا
- and not
- لَكُم
- for you
- مِّن
- any
- نَّكِيرٍ
- denial.
Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. No refuge will you have that day, nor for you will there be any denial.
42:47
