Sura 42 Ash-Shura (The Consultation), ayah 50

1. أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَاثًا ۖ وَيَجْعَلُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ عَقِيمًا ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ

   Translation by words

   أَوْ

   Or

   يُزَوِّجُهُمْ

   He grants them

   ذُكْرَانًا

   males

   وَإِنَٰثًا

   and females;

   وَيَجْعَلُ

   and He makes

   مَن

   whom

   يَشَآءُ

   He wills

   عَقِيمًا

   barren.

   إِنَّهُۥ

   Indeed, He

   عَلِيمٌ

   (is) All-Knower,

   قَدِيرٌ

   All-Powerful.

   Or He makes them (both) males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent.
