Sura 43 Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of gold), ayah 49

1. وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَ السَّاحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِنْدَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ

   Translation by words

   وَقَالُوا۟

   And they said,

   يَٰٓأَيُّهَ

   "O

   ٱلسَّاحِرُ

   [the] magician!

   ٱدْعُ

   Invoke

   لَنَا

   for us

   رَبَّكَ

   your Lord

   بِمَا

   by what

   عَهِدَ

   He has made covenant

   عِندَكَ

   with you.

   إِنَّنَا

   Indeed, we

   لَمُهْتَدُونَ

   (will) surely be guided."

   And they said (to Moses), "O magician, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. Indeed, we will be guided."

   43:49

Translation: Saheeh International
