Sura 43 Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of gold), ayah 57

وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ
Translation by words
- وَلَمَّا
- And when
- ضُرِبَ
- is presented,
- ٱبْنُ
- (the) son
- مَرْيَمَ
- (of) Maryam,
- مَثَلًا
- (as) an example
- إِذَا
- behold!
- قَوْمُكَ
- Your people
- مِنْهُ
- about it
- يَصِدُّونَ
- laughed aloud.
And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud.
