Sura 43 Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of gold), ayah 60

1. وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنْكُمْ مَلَائِكَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ

   Translation by words

   وَلَوْ

   And if

   نَشَآءُ

   We willed,

   لَجَعَلْنَا

   surely We (could have) made

   مِنكُم

   among you

   مَّلَٰٓئِكَةً

   Angels

   فِى

   in

   ٱلْأَرْضِ

   the earth

   يَخْلُفُونَ

   succeeding.

   And if We willed, We could have made (instead) of you angels succeeding (one another) on the earth.

   43:60
