Sura 45 Al-Jathiyah (The Crouching), ayah 31

  1. وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُجْرِمِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَأَمَّا
    But as for
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    those who
    كَفَرُوٓا۟
    disbelieved,
    أَفَلَمْ
    "Then were not
    تَكُنْ
    "Then were not
    ءَايَٰتِى
    My Verses
    تُتْلَىٰ
    recited
    عَلَيْكُمْ
    to you
    فَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ
    but you were proud
    وَكُنتُمْ
    and you became
    قَوْمًا
    a people
    مُّجْرِمِينَ
    criminals?"

    But as for those who disbelieved, (it will be said), "Were not Our verses recited to you, but you were arrogant and became a people of criminals?

    45:31
