Sura 45 Al-Jathiyah (The Crouching), ayah 9

1. وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا شَيْئًا اتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ

   Translation by words

   وَإِذَا

   And when

   عَلِمَ

   he knows

   مِنْ

   of

   ءَايَٰتِنَا

   Our Verses,

   شَيْـًٔا

   anything,

   ٱتَّخَذَهَا

   he takes them

   هُزُوًا

   (in) ridicule.

   أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ

   Those -

   لَهُمْ

   for them

   عَذَابٌ

   (is) a punishment

   مُّهِينٌ

   humiliating.

   And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.

   45:9
