Sura 46 Al-Ahqaf (The Wind - Curved Sandhills), ayah 16
-
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنْهُمْ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا وَنَتَجَاوَزُ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ فِي أَصْحَابِ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ وَعْدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ
Translation by words
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (are) the ones
- نَتَقَبَّلُ
- We will accept
- عَنْهُمْ
- from them
- أَحْسَنَ
- (the) best
- مَا
- (of) what
- عَمِلُوا۟
- they did
- وَنَتَجَاوَزُ
- and We will overlook
- عَن
- [from]
- سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ
- their evil deeds,
- فِىٓ
- among
- أَصْحَٰبِ
- (the) companions
- ٱلْجَنَّةِ
- (of) Paradise.
- وَعْدَ
- A promise
- ٱلصِّدْقِ
- true
- ٱلَّذِى
- which
- كَانُوا۟
- they were
- يُوعَدُونَ
- promised.
Those are the ones from whom We will accept the best of what they did and overlook their misdeeds, (their being) among the companions of Paradise. (That is) the promise of truth which they had been promised.
46:16
Translation: Saheeh International
