Sura 46 Al-Ahqaf (The Wind - Curved Sandhills), ayah 30
-
قَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَابًا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ وَإِلَىٰ طَرِيقٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Translation by words
- قَالُوا۟
- They said,
- يَٰقَوْمَنَآ
- "O our people!
- إِنَّا
- Indeed, we
- سَمِعْنَا
- [we] have heard
- كِتَٰبًا
- a Book
- أُنزِلَ
- revealed
- مِنۢ
- after
- بَعْدِ
- after
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- مُصَدِّقًا
- confirming
- لِّمَا
- what
- بَيْنَ
- (was) before it,
- يَدَيْهِ
- (was) before it,
- يَهْدِىٓ
- guiding
- إِلَى
- to
- ٱلْحَقِّ
- the truth
- وَإِلَىٰ
- and to
- طَرِيقٍ
- a Path
- مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
- Straight.
They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a (recited) Book revealed after Moses confirming what was before it which guides to the truth and to a straight path.
46:30
