Sura 47 Muhammad, ayah 10
-
أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ دَمَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ أَمْثَالُهَا
Translation by words
- أَفَلَمْ
- Do not
- يَسِيرُوا۟
- they travel
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- فَيَنظُرُوا۟
- and see
- كَيْفَ
- how
- كَانَ
- was
- عَٰقِبَةُ
- (the) end
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (of) those
- مِن
- before them?
- قَبْلِهِمْ
- before them?
- دَمَّرَ
- Allah destroyed
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah destroyed
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- [over] them,
- وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- and for the disbelievers
- أَمْثَٰلُهَا
- its likeness.
Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed (everything) over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable.
47:10
Translation: Saheeh International
