Sura 47 Muhammad, ayah 13

وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِنْ قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ
Translation by words
- وَكَأَيِّن
- And how many
- مِّن
- of
- قَرْيَةٍ
- a town,
- هِىَ
- which
- أَشَدُّ
- (was) stronger
- قُوَّةً
- (in) strength
- مِّن
- than
- قَرْيَتِكَ
- your town
- ٱلَّتِىٓ
- which
- أَخْرَجَتْكَ
- has driven you out?
- أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ
- We destroyed them,
- فَلَا
- so no
- نَاصِرَ
- helper
- لَهُمْ
- for them.
And how many a city was stronger than your city (Makkah) which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.
47:13
