Sura 47 Muhammad, ayah 22

1. فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَنْ تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ

   Translation by words

   فَهَلْ

   Then would

   عَسَيْتُمْ

   you perhaps,

   إِن

   if

   تَوَلَّيْتُمْ

   you are given authority

   أَن

   that

   تُفْسِدُوا۟

   you cause corruption

   فِى

   in

   ٱلْأَرْضِ

   the earth

   وَتُقَطِّعُوٓا۟

   and cut off

   أَرْحَامَكُمْ

   your ties of kinship.

   So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your (ties of) relationship?

   47:22
