Sura 47 Muhammad, ayah 28
-
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اتَّبَعُوا مَا أَسْخَطَ اللَّهَ وَكَرِهُوا رِضْوَانَهُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ
Translation by words
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- بِأَنَّهُمُ
- (is) because they
- ٱتَّبَعُوا۟
- followed
- مَآ
- what
- أَسْخَطَ
- angered
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- وَكَرِهُوا۟
- and hated
- رِضْوَٰنَهُۥ
- His pleasure,
- فَأَحْبَطَ
- so He made worthless
- أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
- their deeds.
That is because they followed what angered Allah and disliked (what earns) His pleasure, so He rendered worthless their deeds.
47:28
