Sura 4 An-Nisa (The Women), ayah 1

  1. يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاءً ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا

    Translation by words

    يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
    O
    ٱلنَّاسُ
    mankind!
    ٱتَّقُوا۟
    Fear
    رَبَّكُمُ
    your Lord
    ٱلَّذِى
    the One Who
    خَلَقَكُم
    created you
    مِّن
    from
    نَّفْسٍ
    a soul
    وَٰحِدَةٍ
    single
    وَخَلَقَ
    and created
    مِنْهَا
    from it
    زَوْجَهَا
    its mate
    وَبَثَّ
    and dispersed
    مِنْهُمَا
    from both of them
    رِجَالًا
    men
    كَثِيرًا
    many
    وَنِسَآءً
    and women.
    وَٱتَّقُوا۟
    And fear
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    ٱلَّذِى
    (through) Whom
    تَسَآءَلُونَ
    you ask
    بِهِۦ
    [with it]
    وَٱلْأَرْحَامَ
    and the wombs.
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    كَانَ
    is
    عَلَيْكُمْ
    over you
    رَقِيبًا
    Ever-Watchful.

    O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.
