Sura 4 An-Nisa (The Women), ayah 59

  1. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ ۖ فَإِنْ تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا

    Translation by words

    يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
    O you
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    who
    ءَامَنُوٓا۟
    believe[d]!
    أَطِيعُوا۟
    Obey
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    وَأَطِيعُوا۟
    and obey
    ٱلرَّسُولَ
    the Messenger
    وَأُو۟لِى
    and those
    ٱلْأَمْرِ
    (having) authority
    مِنكُمْ
    among you.
    فَإِن
    Then if
    تَنَٰزَعْتُمْ
    you disagree
    فِى
    in
    شَىْءٍ
    anything,
    فَرُدُّوهُ
    refer it
    إِلَى
    to
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    وَٱلرَّسُولِ
    and the Messenger,
    إِن
    if
    كُنتُمْ
    you
    تُؤْمِنُونَ
    believe
    بِٱللَّهِ
    in Allah
    وَٱلْيَوْمِ
    and the Day
    ٱلْءَاخِرِ
    [the] Last.
    ذَٰلِكَ
    That
    خَيْرٌ
    (is) best
    وَأَحْسَنُ
    and more suitable
    تَأْوِيلًا
    (for final) determination.

    O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best (way) and best in result.
