Sura 50 The letter Qaaf (Qaf), ayah 27

  1. قَالَ قَرِينُهُ رَبَّنَا مَا أَطْغَيْتُهُ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ

    Translation by words

    قَالَ
    Will say
    قَرِينُهُۥ
    his companion,
    رَبَّنَا
    "Our Lord,
    مَآ
    not
    أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ
    I made him transgress,
    وَلَٰكِن
    but
    كَانَ
    he was
    فِى
    in
    ضَلَٰلٍۭ
    error
    بَعِيدٍ
    far."

    His (devil) companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he (himself) was in extreme error."
