Sura 56 Al-Waqi'ah (The Inevitable), ayah 70

1. لَوْ نَشَاءُ جَعَلْنَاهُ أُجَاجًا فَلَوْلَا تَشْكُرُونَ

   Translation by words

   لَوْ

   If

   نَشَآءُ

   We willed,

   جَعَلْنَٰهُ

   We (could) make it

   أُجَاجًا

   salty,

   فَلَوْلَا

   then why are you not grateful?

   تَشْكُرُونَ

   then why are you not grateful?

   If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?

   56:70
