Sura 57 Al-Hadid (The Iron), ayah 26

  1. وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مُهْتَدٍ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَلَقَدْ
    And certainly
    أَرْسَلْنَا
    We sent
    نُوحًا
    Nuh
    وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
    and Ibrahim,
    وَجَعَلْنَا
    and We placed
    فِى
    in
    ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا
    their offspring
    ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ
    Prophethood
    وَٱلْكِتَٰبَ
    and the Scripture;
    فَمِنْهُم
    and among them
    مُّهْتَدٍ
    (is) a guided one,
    وَكَثِيرٌ
    but most
    مِّنْهُمْ
    of them
    فَٰسِقُونَ
    (are) defiantly disobediently.

    And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

    57:26
