Sura 58 Al-Mujadila (The Pleading Woman), ayah 1
-
قَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّتِي تُجَادِلُكَ فِي زَوْجِهَا وَتَشْتَكِي إِلَى اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ يَسْمَعُ تَحَاوُرَكُمَا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ
Translation by words
- قَدْ
- Indeed,
- سَمِعَ
- Allah has heard
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah has heard
- قَوْلَ
- (the) speech
- ٱلَّتِى
- (of one) who
- تُجَٰدِلُكَ
- disputes with you
- فِى
- concerning
- زَوْجِهَا
- her husband
- وَتَشْتَكِىٓ
- and she directs her complaint
- إِلَى
- to
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah.
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- يَسْمَعُ
- hears
- تَحَاوُرَكُمَآ
- (the) dialogue of both of you.
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- سَمِيعٌۢ
- (is) All-Hearer,
- بَصِيرٌ
- All-Seer.
Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you, (O Muhammad), concerning her husband and directs her complaint to Allah. And Allah hears your dialogue; indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.
