Sura 58 Al-Mujadila (The Pleading Woman), ayah 18
-
يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَحْلِفُونَ لَهُ كَمَا يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ
Translation by words
- يَوْمَ
- (On the) Day
- يَبْعَثُهُمُ
- Allah will raise them
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah will raise them
- جَمِيعًا
- all,
- فَيَحْلِفُونَ
- then they will swear
- لَهُۥ
- to Him
- كَمَا
- as
- يَحْلِفُونَ
- they swear
- لَكُمْ
- to you.
- وَيَحْسَبُونَ
- And they think
- أَنَّهُمْ
- that they
- عَلَىٰ
- (are) on
- شَىْءٍ
- something.
- أَلَآ
- No doubt!
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed, they
- هُمُ
- [they]
- ٱلْكَٰذِبُونَ
- (are) the liars.
On the Day Allah will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you and think that they are (standing) on something. Unquestionably, it is they who are the liars.
58:18
Translation: Saheeh International
