Sura 58 Al-Mujadila (The Pleading Woman), ayah 19

  1. اسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْهِمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَأَنْسَاهُمْ ذِكْرَ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ حِزْبُ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّ حِزْبَ الشَّيْطَانِ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ

    Translation by words

    ٱسْتَحْوَذَ
    Has overcome
    عَلَيْهِمُ
    them
    ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
    the Shaitaan,
    فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ
    so he made them forget
    ذِكْرَ
    (the) remembrance
    ٱللَّهِ
    (of) Allah.
    أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
    Those
    حِزْبُ
    (are the) party
    ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ
    (of) the Shaitaan.
    أَلَآ
    No doubt!
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    حِزْبَ
    (the) party
    ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ
    (of) the Shaitaan,
    هُمُ
    they
    ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ
    (will be) the losers.

    Satan has overcome them and made them forget the remembrance of Allah. Those are the party of Satan. Unquestionably, the party of Satan - they will be the losers.

    58:19
