Sura 5 Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread), ayah 102

قَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْمٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحُوا بِهَا كَافِرِينَ
Translation by words

- Indeed,
- سَأَلَهَا
- asked them
- قَوْمٌ
- a people
- مِّن
- from
- قَبْلِكُمْ
- before you,
- ثُمَّ
- then
- أَصْبَحُوا۟
- they became
- بِهَا
- thereby
- كَٰفِرِينَ
- disbelievers.
A people asked such (questions) before you; then they became thereby disbelievers.
