Sura 5 Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread), ayah 65

  1. وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ آمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

    Translation by words

    وَلَوْ
    And if
    أَنَّ
    that
    أَهْلَ
    (the) People
    ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
    (of) the Book
    ءَامَنُوا۟
    (had) believed
    وَٱتَّقَوْا۟
    and feared (Allah),
    لَكَفَّرْنَا
    surely We (would have) removed
    عَنْهُمْ
    from them
    سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ
    their evil (deeds)
    وَلَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُمْ
    and surely We (would have) admitted them
    جَنَّٰتِ
    (to) Gardens
    ٱلنَّعِيمِ
    (of) Bliss.

    And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allah, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.
