Sura 60 Al-Mumtahanah (She that is to be examined), ayah 3

  1. لَنْ تَنْفَعَكُمْ أَرْحَامُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُمْ ۚ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

    Translation by words

    لَن
    Never
    تَنفَعَكُمْ
    will benefit you
    أَرْحَامُكُمْ
    your relatives
    وَلَآ
    and not
    أَوْلَٰدُكُمْ
    your children
    يَوْمَ
    (on the) Day
    ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
    (of) the Resurrection.
    يَفْصِلُ
    He will judge
    بَيْنَكُمْ
    between you.
    وَٱللَّهُ
    And Allah
    بِمَا
    of what
    تَعْمَلُونَ
    you do
    بَصِيرٌ
    (is) All-Seer.

    Never will your relatives or your children benefit you; the Day of Resurrection He will judge between you. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.

    60:3
