Sura 66 At-Tahrim (The Prohibition), ayah 11

  1. وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا امْرَأَتَ فِرْعَوْنَ إِذْ قَالَتْ رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِنْدَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِي مِنْ فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَمَلِهِ وَنَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَضَرَبَ
    And presents
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah
    مَثَلًا
    an example
    لِّلَّذِينَ
    for those who
    ءَامَنُوا۟
    believed -
    ٱمْرَأَتَ
    (the) wife
    فِرْعَوْنَ
    (of) Firaun,
    إِذْ
    when
    قَالَتْ
    she said,
    رَبِّ
    "My Lord!
    ٱبْنِ
    Build
    لِى
    for me
    عِندَكَ
    near You
    بَيْتًا
    a house
    فِى
    in
    ٱلْجَنَّةِ
    Paradise,
    وَنَجِّنِى
    and save me
    مِن
    from
    فِرْعَوْنَ
    Firaun
    وَعَمَلِهِۦ
    and his deeds
    وَنَجِّنِى
    and save me
    مِنَ
    from
    ٱلْقَوْمِ
    the people
    ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
    the wrongdoers."

    And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people."
