Sura 67 Al-Mulk (The Sovereignty), ayah 16

  1. أَأَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ

    Translation by words

    ءَأَمِنتُم
    Do you feel secure
    مَّن
    (from Him) Who
    فِى
    (is) in
    ٱلسَّمَآءِ
    the heaven
    أَن
    not
    يَخْسِفَ
    He will cause to swallow
    بِكُمُ
    you
    ٱلْأَرْضَ
    the earth
    فَإِذَا
    when
    هِىَ
    it
    تَمُورُ
    sways?

    Do you feel secure that He who (holds authority) in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?

    67:16
