Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 46
-
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ سَمْعَكُمْ وَأَبْصَارَكُمْ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ مَنْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِهِ ۗ انْظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ ثُمَّ هُمْ يَصْدِفُونَ
Translation by words
- قُلْ
- Say,
- أَرَءَيْتُمْ
- "Have you seen
- إِنْ
- if
- أَخَذَ
- took away
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- سَمْعَكُمْ
- your hearing
- وَأَبْصَٰرَكُمْ
- and your sight
- وَخَتَمَ
- and sealed
- عَلَىٰ
- [on]
- قُلُوبِكُم
- your hearts,
- مَّنْ
- who
- إِلَٰهٌ
- (is the) god
- غَيْرُ
- other than
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- يَأْتِيكُم
- to bring [back] to you
- بِهِ
- with it?
- ٱنظُرْ
- See
- كَيْفَ
- how
- نُصَرِّفُ
- We explain
- ٱلْءَايَٰتِ
- the Signs;
- ثُمَّ
- yet
- هُمْ
- they
- يَصْدِفُونَ
- turn away."
Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should take away your hearing and your sight and set a seal upon your hearts, which deity other than Allah could bring them (back) to you?" Look how we diversify the verses; then they (still) turn away.

Translation: Saheeh International
