Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 54
-
وَإِذَا جَاءَكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Translation by words
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- جَآءَكَ
- come to you
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
- in Our Verses
- فَقُلْ
- then say,
- سَلَٰمٌ
- "Peace
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- (be) upon you.
- كَتَبَ
- (Has) Prescribed
- رَبُّكُمْ
- your Lord
- عَلَىٰ
- upon
- نَفْسِهِ
- Himself
- ٱلرَّحْمَةَ
- the Mercy,
- أَنَّهُۥ
- that he
- مَنْ
- who
- عَمِلَ
- does
- مِنكُمْ
- among you
- سُوٓءًۢا
- evil
- بِجَهَٰلَةٍ
- in ignorance
- ثُمَّ
- then
- تَابَ
- repents
- مِنۢ
- from
- بَعْدِهِۦ
- after it
- وَأَصْلَحَ
- and reforms,
- فَأَنَّهُۥ
- then, indeed He
- غَفُورٌ
- (is) Oft-Forgiving,
- رَّحِيمٌ
- Most Merciful."
And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself - indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."
