Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 76

  1. فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلُ رَأَىٰ كَوْكَبًا ۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَا أُحِبُّ الْآفِلِينَ

    Translation by words

    فَلَمَّا
    So when
    جَنَّ
    covered
    عَلَيْهِ
    over him
    ٱلَّيْلُ
    the night,
    رَءَا
    he saw
    كَوْكَبًا
    a star.
    قَالَ
    He said,
    هَٰذَا
    "This
    رَبِّى
    (is) my Lord."
    فَلَمَّآ
    But when
    أَفَلَ
    it set,
    قَالَ
    he said
    لَآ
    "Not
    أُحِبُّ
    (do) I like
    ٱلْءَافِلِينَ
    the ones that set."

    So when the night covered him (with darkness), he saw a star. He said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "I like not those that disappear."
