Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 79

  1. إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

    Translation by words

    إِنِّى
    Indeed, I
    وَجَّهْتُ
    [I] have turned
    وَجْهِىَ
    my face
    لِلَّذِى
    to the One Who
    فَطَرَ
    created
    ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
    the heavens
    وَٱلْأَرْضَ
    and the earth
    حَنِيفًا
    (as) a true monotheist,
    وَمَآ
    and not
    أَنَا۠
    I (am)
    مِنَ
    of
    ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
    the polytheists.

    Indeed, I have turned my face toward He who created the heavens and the earth, inclining toward truth, and I am not of those who associate others with Allah."
