Sura 72 Al-Jinn (The Jinn), ayah 10

وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِي أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا
Translation by words
- وَأَنَّا
- And that we -
- لَا
- not
- نَدْرِىٓ
- we know
- أَشَرٌّ
- whether evil
- أُرِيدَ
- is intended
- بِمَن
- for (those) who
- فِى
- (are) in
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- أَمْ
- or
- أَرَادَ
- intends
- بِهِمْ
- for them
- رَبُّهُمْ
- their Lord
- رَشَدًا
- a right path.
And we do not know (therefore) whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.
72:10
