Sura 72 Al-Jinn (The Jinn), ayah 11

  1. وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ كُنَّا طَرَائِقَ قِدَدًا

    Translation by words

    وَأَنَّا
    And that [we]
    مِنَّا
    among us
    ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ
    (are) the righteous
    وَمِنَّا
    and among us
    دُونَ
    (are) other than
    ذَٰلِكَ
    that.
    كُنَّا
    We
    طَرَآئِقَ
    (are on) ways
    قِدَدًا
    different.

    And among us are the righteous, and among us are (others) not so; we were (of) divided ways.
