Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 123

  1. قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ آمَنْتُمْ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَكَرْتُمُوهُ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوا مِنْهَا أَهْلَهَا ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

    Translation by words

    قَالَ
    Said
    فِرْعَوْنُ
    Firaun,
    ءَامَنتُم
    "You believed
    بِهِۦ
    in him
    قَبْلَ
    before
    أَنْ
    [that]
    ءَاذَنَ
    I give permission
    لَكُمْ
    to you.
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    هَٰذَا
    this
    لَمَكْرٌ
    (is) surely a plot
    مَّكَرْتُمُوهُ
    you have plotted it
    فِى
    in
    ٱلْمَدِينَةِ
    the city
    لِتُخْرِجُوا۟
    so that you may drive out
    مِنْهَآ
    from it
    أَهْلَهَا
    its people.
    فَسَوْفَ
    But soon
    تَعْلَمُونَ
    you will know.

    Said Pharaoh, "You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, this is a conspiracy which you conspired in the city to expel therefrom its people. But you are going to know.
