Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 132

  1. وَقَالُوا مَهْمَا تَأْتِنَا بِهِ مِنْ آيَةٍ لِتَسْحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَقَالُوا۟
    And they said,
    مَهْمَا
    "Whatever
    تَأْتِنَا
    you bring us
    بِهِۦ
    therewith
    مِنْ
    of
    ءَايَةٍ
    (the) sign
    لِّتَسْحَرَنَا
    so that you bewitch us
    بِهَا
    with it,
    فَمَا
    then not
    نَحْنُ
    we
    لَكَ
    (will be) in you
    بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
    believers."

    And they said, "No matter what sign you bring us with which to bewitch us, we will not be believers in you."
